Dr. Afroz Alam
PhD in Botany from University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (India) and has more than 15 years research and teaching experience. At Present Dr. Alam is a senior faculty in Department of Bioscience & Biotechnology, Banasthali University, Rajasthan. Dr. Alam has published more than hundred research papers and review articles in journals of international repute including, Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (Biological Section), Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society, Bulletin Botanical Survey of India, Journal of Biological Sciences, Polish Botanical Journal, Turkish Journal of Biology, Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection, Cancer letters, Tumor Biology, Molecular carcinogenesis, Cytokine & Growth Factor Reviews, Critical Reviews in Oncology / Hematology, Plant Cell Biotechnology And Molecular Biology etc. Eight books, including 4 text books are also to his credit. He has been successfully guided 9 students for their Ph.D. degree. He is life member of Indian Botanical Society, Association of Indian Plant Taxonomy and Indian Bryological Society. He is member of Editorial Board of many reputed international and national journals. Research Interest: Plant Systematics, Biodiversity, Plant Physiology, Oncology, Biotechnology, etc.
